About

Portrait of Elizabeth Pompa

Elizabeth (Liz) Pompa (b. 2002) is a native Pennsylvanian who grew up fascinated by Appalachian folklore, which later expanded into an interest in spooky folklore from around the world. She is a fan of antiques, has a growing collection of vintage sweaters, and is a cat advocate with two cats of her own named Ollie and Zuko.

Elizabeth grew up fascinated with band music and learning how to play as many instruments as possible. She had her first concert band work performed in 8th grade by her middle school peers. She now draws on those inspirations to create memorable works based on folklore and unusual phenomena in the world.

Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in Music Technology – Music Composition at Duquesne University in 2024 and is currently pursuing her master's degree at Texas Tech University.
